CredentialDesk is not affiliated with any state licensing board, and we don't sell continuing education courses ourselves. The CE links on each requirement page point to providers that commonly serve that profession, based on what each state board itself lists as approved where a public approved-provider list exists.

A provider paying us an affiliate commission is never the reason it appears on a page. If a provider isn't a fit for a profession or state, we don't list it there regardless of what it pays. When we don't have enough information to recommend a specific provider, we say so and point you to your board's own list instead of guessing.

Where a CE link is an affiliate link, meaning we earn a commission if you enroll through it, that's marked on the page carrying it and stated here plainly: it changes how we get paid, not which providers we list. As of August 2026 there is exactly one: CE Ready, which sells nursing CE and nothing else. Every other CE provider on the site is still just a link, no commission either way.

Here is the mechanism, because a promise without one is just a sentence. The function that decides which providers a page may show filters by profession before anything else, and it never reads whether a provider pays us. That is why a real estate or CPA page cannot render a CE Ready link even by mistake: those professions aren't in its list, and money can't put them there. On a nursing page CE Ready gets the bigger card, because we have read its accreditation number and its prices and can tell you both. The providers that pay us nothing sit directly below it, in the same module, unmoved.

None of this touched the numbers. Renewal cycles, CE hours and fees come from the state board's own page, cited and dated, on every requirement page, whether or not a CE link on that page happens to be paid.

The book links are a separate thing and they are ours to declare: those go to Amazon, we earn a commission on what you buy through them, and they sit in their own block below the CE section. No publisher pays for a place on that list. Nothing on it is board approved or counts toward continuing education, which is why it never appears beside the hours a board actually requires.

Requirement figures (CE hours, renewal cycles, fees, mandatory topics) are sourced from the state board itself and dated. If a board's rule is ambiguous or we can't verify a number, we say so on the page instead of guessing a plausible figure.
